AI headcount management, with an agent for every team
Kinnect's AI agents reconcile headcount across your HRIS, ATS and plan, explain every variance and flag hiring risk, so Finance, HR, Recruiting and managers run on one number.
Kinnect's AI agents at work: the FP&A Agent reconciling positions across Workday, the ATS and the plan, the HR Agent matching workers to governed positions, the Recruiting Ops Agent flagging unfunded requisitions, and the Manager Agent pricing a request before it is submitted, so every team runs on one headcount number.
Meet the agents
One AI agent per team. One headcount number.
Each agent works the same governed positions, requisitions and budgets from its own side, so what one finds the others already know.
For Finance
FP&A Agent
Helps you keep headcount reconciled across every system and mapped back to the finance plan.
Hands you
Data & ML is $455,875 over budget for FY 2027: two net-new positions, one unplanned promotion and the planned-vs-budget gap. Drivers attached.
Kinnect for FinanceFor HR and People Operations
HR Agent
Keeps every worker on a governed position with the right job profile and pay band.
Hands you
3 workers in Workday have no governed position. Flagged for review with the suggested cost center, profile and band for each.
Kinnect for HRFor Recruiting
Recruiting Ops Agent
Keeps recruiters on funded roles only, and says where the hiring plan is falling behind.
Hands you
4 requisitions in Greenhouse have no funded position. 2 more have had no activity in 21 days. Listed by recruiter, with the position each should map to.
Kinnect for RecruitingFor Hiring managers
Manager Agent
A chatbot and knowledge base for hiring managers that answers headcount questions, writes the job profile and completes the request, priced and banded.
Hands you
Your Data & ML backfill request is drafted: job profile written, $167K annualized, band P4, cost center attached. Ready to submit.
Headcount governance
Built from real headcount operations
Every agent started as a job someone did by hand
The agents are shaped by how enterprise Finance, HR and Recruiting teams actually run headcount. The work is the same. The hands are different.
The month-end reconciliation
Now continuous
Workday, the ATS and the plan agree on one headcount number every day, not the week after close.
The request that bounced
Now arrives complete
Cost, pay band and job profile attached before the budget owner sees it. One approval, one comment.
The requisition nobody funded
Now flagged the same day
Every open req maps to a funded position, or gets surfaced by recruiter with the one it should map to.
The variance nobody could explain
Now comes with its drivers
The hires, terminations and merit changes behind every number, to the cent.
Every headcount variance, explained
Anyone can flag that the number moved. The FP&A Agent says what moved it: the hires, terminations and merit changes behind every variance, to the cent, before close.
- Net-new positions, unplanned events and plan vs budget, bridged exactly
- Every driver linked to the position and event it came from
- Explained the day it happens, not in the reforecast
The Finance variance drill-in for cost center Data and ML, FY 2027: a $455,875 variance bridged exactly by net-new positions, unplanned events and planned versus budget
Agents flag and explain. People decide.
Four things the agents never do
No automated approvals
Approvals stay with the manager and the budget owner in the Inbox. Every decision still needs a person and a comment.
No writes to your HRIS or ATS
Agents flag, explain and prepare. Changes to positions and requisitions go through the same workflows and integrations as everything else.
Nothing without its record
Every finding sits next to the positions and events it was read from, labeled as the agent's, so it can be checked rather than trusted.
Off until you turn it on
An administrator enables AI features in Settings > System, for the workspace. Until then, no agent runs.

Questions about the agents
What is AI headcount management?
Headcount management software in which AI agents do the reconciling, explaining and flagging that Finance, HR and Recruiting teams otherwise do by hand: keeping positions, requisitions and budgets in agreement across the HRIS, the ATS and the plan, explaining every variance by its drivers, and surfacing hiring risk, while people keep every approval. Kinnect is AI headcount management software built on a governed position record.
Which AI agents does Kinnect have?
Four, one per team: the FP&A Agent for Finance, the HR Agent for HR and People Operations, the Recruiting Ops Agent for Recruiting, and the Manager Agent for hiring managers. They all read the same governed positions, requisitions and budgets, so what one flags the others already see.
What data do the agents read?
The positions, workers, requisitions and budgets already in your Kinnect tenant, ingested from Workday and your ATS. Nothing outside it. The agents do not create a parallel dataset.
How does the FP&A Agent explain a variance?
It reads the same variance drill-in Finance uses: net-new positions, unplanned events and the planned-vs-budget gap, which sum to the variance exactly. The explanation sits next to the positions and events it came from, so it can be checked rather than trusted.
Does an agent approve anything?
No. Approvals stay with the manager and the budget owner in the Inbox, with a required comment on every decision. Agents flag, explain and prepare; people decide.
Does an agent write to Workday or the ATS?
No. Changes to positions and requisitions go through the same workflows and integrations as everything else in Kinnect. An agent can get a requisition ready to push; a person pushes it.
Is the AI on by default?
No. An administrator enables AI features in Settings > System for the workspace. Until that is on, no agent runs.
