What You Will Leave With
Bring one position. Leave knowing what to govern first.
In 30 focused minutes, we will trace one approved position, identify the highest-risk handoff, and give you a defensible next step.
01 · Control Map
How the position moved
Trace the position across budget approval, ownership, workforce planning, the enterprise HRIS, Recruiting, the ATS, and its current execution stage.
02 · Highest-Risk Handoff
Where control breaks
Identify where financial context, approval, ownership, timing, or accountability stopped matching the latest approved decision.
03 · Priority Next Step
What to govern first
Determine whether the evidence points to an operating-model change, a focused workflow correction, a narrow Kinnect deployment, or no immediate action.
The Operating Layer Behind the Review
One approved position. One governed lifecycle.
Kinnect is headcount-governance software that keeps financial, organizational, approval, ownership, and recruiting context connected as a position moves from budget through hire.

Finance sees the position behind the forecast before it becomes payroll.
Recognize the Pattern
When approved headcount and hiring execution drift apart.
The visible symptoms may appear in different systems and functions. The underlying issue is often a control gap between approval and execution.
- Finance cannot reconcile funded positions, open requisitions, offers, and committed starts.
- Requisitions no longer match the current approved position or cost center.
- Offer and start commitments surface after the forecast has already changed.
- Finance, HRIS, and Recruiting produce different answers for the same headcount question.
- A reorganization, ATS transition, position-management redesign, or planning change exposed a fragile handoff.
- Existing integrations move records but do not preserve the financial and approval context behind the decision.
Best suited for Finance and FP&A leaders responsible for headcount, joined when possible by the HRIS or People Systems owner closest to the position lifecycle.
Kinnect is currently Workday-first. Other enterprise HRIS teams may still book to evaluate the operating model and confirm product fit.
How the 30 Minutes Work
Focused on one real position. Not a generic presentation.
5 Min · Context
Confirm the approved position
Confirm what Finance approved, where the position currently sits, and where the teams disagree.
15 Min · Trace
Follow the decision through execution
Map the position across planning, approval, HRIS, requisition, offer, committed start, and current ownership.
5 Min · Breakpoint
Identify the control gap
Determine where financial context, approval, timing, ownership, or accountability stopped matching the latest decision.
5 Min · Next Step
Prioritize what to govern first
Agree on the highest-risk handoff and whether an operating-model change, workflow correction, or narrow Kinnect deployment is the appropriate next step.
The objective is clarity: identify the control gap and determine the right next step.

Scope
A focused working session. Not a generic product demo.
This Review Is
- A working session built around one approved position
- A directional control map
- A working hypothesis about the highest-risk handoff
- A prioritized next step
- A product discussion only where relevant to the evidence
- A clear decision on whether further action is justified
This Review Is Not
- A full workforce-planning or HRIS assessment
- A configuration, security, or compliance review
- A promise to diagnose the entire operating model in 30 minutes
- A request for production-system access
- A requirement to begin a paid engagement
Deeper process design or deployment planning begins only when the evidence supports a narrow production use case.
Questions
Before you book
Who should attend?
The Finance or FP&A leader closest to headcount commitments should attend. When possible, include the HRIS or People Systems owner responsible for position management. Recruiting Operations or Talent Acquisition may also join when the position is already in recruiting.
What should I bring?
Bring one approved position already in motion and be ready to explain what Finance approved, where the position currently sits, and where the teams disagree. No presentation is required.
Do you need access to our systems?
No. Do not share credentials, employee records, confidential compensation data, or production access. The review is based on the operating path and decision context you describe.
Is this a Kinnect demo or sales pitch?
No generic demo or sales presentation is planned. When a Kinnect workflow is relevant to the control gap, we may show the specific product view that illustrates how the position could remain connected.
What happens after the review?
You will leave with a control map, the highest-risk handoff, and a prioritized next step. If Kinnect appears relevant, we may discuss a narrow paid production deployment. If it does not, we will still recommend what to investigate first.
What if we do not use Workday?
The Headcount Control Gap can exist across enterprise HRIS environments. Kinnect is currently Workday-first, so we will confirm product fit based on your HRIS and operating model before the session.
