What it does
Workday Recruiting and Kinnect, on one position
- Push to Workday sends the requisitionOn the requisition detail, the footer action Push to Workday sends the req to the configured ATS. The requisition was created by Start Recruiting on an approved Open position, so the opening in Workday Recruiting already has a governed, budgeted position behind it.
- Candidate progress syncs from the ATS integrationThe requisition progresses Open, Recruiting, Offer accepted, Pushed to ATS, and candidate movement syncs from the ATS integration configured in Settings > Integrations into the Candidate tab and the Recruiting page stat cards.
- Hires close the loopWhen the hire completes, the position flips to Filled and the requisition closes. Because HCM and recruiting share one Workday connection, the worker record, the position and the closed requisition line up without a second integration.

Setup
How setup works
Select Workday Recruiting as the ATS in Settings > System.
The ATS card in Settings > Integrations then configures Workday Recruiting, on the same Workday connection used for HCM data.
Confirm the event-report URL and mappings on the HRIS card if the Workday connection is new.
Run Start Recruiting on a test position and Push to Workday; confirm the req appears and the hire returns.
Choosing between Greenhouse and Workday Recruiting: if recruiters already live in Workday, one connection covers HCM and recruiting. If they live in Greenhouse, that integration is the deeper one today. Neither is a verdict; the ATS selector is a setting.

HR keeps one Workday connection and gains the request-to-approval chain in front of it, with the requisition and hire in the position History.

Recruiting works in Workday Recruiting as before; a req exists only after Start Recruiting on an approved position.
